Dr. Langston is a dedicated and caring dental practitioner with a genuine passion for creating the best outcome for his patients.


He began his dental training at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, earning a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1981. Dr. Langston spent the next five years practicing general dentistry and completing a general practice residency; now as a periodontist, these experiences have enhanced his ability to coordinate with restorative dentists for the best overall results.


In 1987, Dr. Langston began three additional years of residency training at Wilford Hall US Air Force Medical Center and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He graduated with specialist certification in periodontology in 1990. In 1995 he purchased his current private practice in St. Petersburg, and has since been providing the community with exceptional periodontal and dental implant care.

Since graduating, Dr. Langston has made it a priority to continue advancing his clinical knowledge. He remains apprised of new technologies in his field, and adopts those that are proven to provide better results or greater patient comfort. He offers cutting edge technologies such as PerioLase soft tissue laser treatment, and computer-guided dental implant placement.


Active in his professional community, Dr. Langston directs two local study clubs. He continues to serve the FDA on the House of Delegates. A Past-President of the Pinellas County Dental Association and a past member of the Executive Council, Southern Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Langston is very active in organized dentistry on the local, state, regional and national levels. He is likewise a member of all relevant local, regional and national professional organizations.

Dr. Langston was a member of the United States Air Force from his early collegiate years in the ROTC until his retirement in 1995. He is a dedicated husband and father of two.
